Support Advisor

Indianapolis Office

Support Advisor

Indianapolis Office

We are currently seeking a Service Advisor for our Indianapolis office.  We offer a professional, family-friendly atmosphere focused on professional and personal growth. We are dedicated to offering world class client service while developing long-term, meaningful relationships with our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client relationship management, primary and secondary relationships, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications
  • Client service, within a team concept, including financial plan development with alternatives and recommendations, portfolio changes and reviews, returns and new opportunity identification , while integrating appropriate team and staff involvement
  • Client asset management, including coordination of complete financial planning and wealth management (analysis, estate planning, tax strategies for assets under management and portfolio management) in compliance with our investment and planning strategies
  • Review and interpret investment reports; work with team to manage portfolio rebalancing and block trading

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS  degree required, preferably in Financial Planning, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the financial planning field delivering advice and services to clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry specific applications such as portfolio accounting, financial planning, CRM and custodial platforms required
  • Proficient in MoneyGuidePro, Salesforce, Tamarac Reporting and Trading, and Schwab Advisor Center preferred
  • Possess proven abilities in high-level financial analysis combined with strategic and creative problem solving, multi-tasking, decision making skills and  excellent written, listening  and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient analyzing, interpreting and summarizing client data and preparing client recommendations
  • Must be detail oriented, objective and empathetic and be dedicated to continuing professional and personal development
  • Successful completion of a full background and credit check at the offer stage required

We are currently seeking a Client Services Associate for our Indianapolis office.  We offer a professional, family-friendly atmosphere focused on professional and personal growth. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a 4-year college degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, business, economics, speech, communications, or similar fields.
  • Be able to quickly adapt to new technology
  • Possess excellent time management, organization, communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to take immediate ownership of his/her work.
  • Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to multitask.

 

Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Use judgment and professional insight to ensure that we consistently provide outstanding service to our client base
  • Respond to ad-hoc client requests via phone, email or in person. This requires an ability to interact with clients empathetically to support their varied needs.
  • Incorporate ongoing technological changes into workflow for improvements and assist in the training of other associates in utilizing technology as needed.
  • Maintain process and procedures and proactively look for and implement improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide assistance, special projects, and other support as required by the client service team
  • Maintain relevant client data within firm databases and spreadsheets and work directly with outside vendors to troubleshoot and problem solve as necessary
  • Open and close client accounts as well as complete any corresponding paperwork that pertains to account maintenance
  • Communicate relevant client information to internal associates, third-party vendors, and clients’ outside advisors as needed
  • Assist the Advisor with preparation of client reports
  • Execute other duties as assigned
